Shipping Alloy Wheels and Tyres.....how?? Advice please!

I am about to sell a set of Alfa Ti Alloys on Fleabay (one buckled probably beyond repair, other 3 in good nick with decent tyres in case anyone is interested). Any advice on shipping and how to wrap them?

Any recommendations on courier or carrier, and how to package them? I purchased a set of wheels a while back to replace these, they turned up bubble wrapped with cardboard over the wheel centres and resembled a 4 foot long tube of sweets!!
