If you enquired with a screen shot of that, would they have to sell to you at that price?

No

It's an otion to treat, it's not binding.

If you bought it online with a credit card at that money you could argue with them over cancelling the order but that aint happening

i think there's usually in the t's & c's stating if the price is wrong you have to pay the correct price.
they can also take the car "off sale"

As said, that price is just an 'invitation to treat'.

All it's doing it inviting you to make an offer, which the seller can accept or decline.

If you bought online at that price the contract between yourself and Renault hasn't been completed until the item has been despatched/delivered, I can't remember which, that's how Tesco don't get shafted when they put iPads on their website for 99p by mistake as they have done in the past even though people have paid by credit card and had confirmation.

No matter what Daily Mail readers may say they do not have to sell it at the price advertised, covered under "an invitation to treat", it's the same if a price board in a car is wrong, or a number has fallen off making the £3995 car £399.

Not really, I didn't make anyone click on a link to read my reply by giving the link a misleading title.

If you thought that the "Captain Muppet" at the top of my reply carries with it some inherent promise of interesting content then I'll gladly pay for your PH forum subscription by way of apologising for your disapointment and inability to learn from experience.
