Hi all,
Quick question for you. My Golf GTD is due its first MOT tomorrow. The only problem I know of with it is the rear passenger door has stopped unlocking and is jammed in the lock position. The car is under warranty so I will claim to get the repair done, but I just wondered if anyone knew, is this an MOT failure? I guess it may be a safety issue as the door will not open, but I was hoping to get it through its MOT and claim on th warranty after Christmas.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I think doors are part of the MOT test, according to Kwik Fit anyway.
Doors
The MoT tester will check that the doors open and close correctly and that the latch is secure in a closed position. Front doors should open from both the inside and outside of the vehicle. Rear doors may need to be opened to gain access to testable items like rear seatbelts.
