what car for 30k miles a year

[robstar2222]

I'm looking for a diesel estate that is capable of 30k a year without too much trouble / cost due to MPG, is big enough for the dog and child and offers a bit of fun -

budget is £3-5k, was looking at Audi A4 estates and BMW 320D estatess -

any other suggestions (ford mondeo / vectra etc)

thanks

As you suggested it yourself, a Mondeo ST TDCi estate?

Mileage is moderately high on this example but there are others around under budget. They're quite good fun as well.
