ZipVan - checking availability before joining

[kiethton]

I am looking to hire a van this sunday for a few hours (and again in 2 weeks time).

Due to this I was looking at joining ZipVan but don't seem to be able to check availability without joining first - are any memebers able to say whether the Catford/Greenwich vans are available on Sunday afternoon?

Also as I'm only 23 would this be an issue?

Thanks for any help in advance

I'd suggest using a 'hertz - b&q' van, no membership fees and there are 3 vans per site i believe! Greenwich b&q has 3 as does Belvedere. You can go in store to sign up and the rest is done over the phone and you can take the van away almost straight away. I think its around £12p/h.

Catford and hither green vans aren't booked at all Sunday. Pretty sure the age question will be answered on their site.

Minimum age for Hertz on Demand is 19. No joining fee. The transits at Greenwich B&Q are £14 per hour.

thanks for that all, i have e-mailed the person I'm collecting the sofas from asking if i can come a little earlier so I can get the B and Q van back on time, if not i'll use the Zipvan in Hither green likely - especially as I'll have cause to use it again for a few hours in a few weeks time
