What car are you talking about? I initially thought Clio 182 but your figures don't add up.

It certainly does exist, not in great numbers mind, circa 215 in the UK and around 14 currently for sale. I don't want to give the game away just yet as I'm hoping the collective might of the PH massive, have a suggestion or two which may match/beat my offering

Well done that manIt's also hideous on fuel, mid to high 20s in the real world from it.
Not a bad little car when it's running nice, but they can have a load of issues and not be 'cheap'.
Some of the parts are eye watering.

When did 1090kg become "light"?
Similar stats: Mitsubish Colt 1.5 turbo, Given they're the same car iirc.
There's a few other cars out there that can do pretty good mpg with a bigger engine and not that much more weight.
Well it is around 230kg lighter than my 911 and around 400-600kg lighter than most modern cars. Would you be so kind as to list a few of the cars you claim offer similar credentials.Similar stats: Mitsubish Colt 1.5 turbo, Given they're the same car iirc.

The data I have for the Smart Brabus ForFour is as follows:
Unlaiden weight: 1090kg (just pointing out this isn't the EU standard, which involves fuel and an occupant)
Power: 177ps , but *MUST* run on at LEAST 98RON.
0-100km/h: 7.6s
Fuel Economy: 34.6mpg (6.8 l/100km combined)
Now, you can disagree if you like but I got my figures from the owners' manual.
Technical data starts on page 248 - http://www.forfour.co.uk/documents/manuals/uk-forf...
