Alternatives to a Nissan Murano?
Discussion
I bought a Nissan Murano on a 08 plate in February based largely on the price and James May's review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en7vuF-CdEQ
It remains one of my best buys mainly because of the following:
- Great ride quality, driving position, and I've used the 4x4 a couple of times and been surprised how good it was.
- Fantastic V6 engine which put a smile on my face every time I slammed the accelerator down.
- Massive spec: sat nav, heated leather seats, reversing camera, Bose 6 CD system, very roomy in the back.
- Great build quality, nothing gone wrong for 2 years
- Perfect size. Small enough to be easy to park in the NCPs but plenty of boot space especially with the rear seats fully flat.
- It was four years old, 1 previous owner, FSH, 40k on the clock.
and all for only £10,250. The only downside was the mpg was around 22mpg. But the speed of the thing more than made up for it, it was deceptively quick and I've loved every minute of owning it.
Now this missus has demanded I hand the keys over to her because she's driven it a few times and prefers it to her own Focus! She's given me 3 weeks notice
I was initially thinking about getting another Murano but would seem a bit daft to have 2 cars exactly the same parked in the garage if I can try something else. Could anyone recommend another similar 4x4 for the price and spec that I've had with the Murano? Would want to go no higher than £15k
