I happened to wander past a car show room today, there, glistening on the shiney floor tiles was a brand spanking new car.

£23,240 OTR.

What do you think it was?

For this to be threadworthy, it has to be on either end of the ridiculous scale.

So, my guesses are:

McLaren MP4-12C

Dacia Sandero.

It was....a Kia Cee'd.

I'm not terribly in touch with the price of modern cars, but 'kinell!! 23 big ones for a pacific rim job!

If I was trying to sell those at that price the last thing I'd be doing would be advertising the price!

There is now way (the OP going for effect) that this would be a Golf. The dealer in Swindon recently had a GTI in the showroom at over £34,000. Madness.

Makes over £20k for a Kia about right. More madness.

Could of been a golf depending on spec.

I saw a Vauxhall Astra VXR on a dealers forecourt with £27,000 in the windscreen. I nearly laughed.

Car costs really have gone silly in the past few years.

A decoy product to show how much the vehicle is "worth" so when they show you a cheaper one you percieve it to be of more value.
