1. 1 If you look closely, the road is cobbled. I think it may be somewhere like Funchal in Madeira. Tourists can be taken down the hill in wooden sledges - it's too narrow for cars.

BTW to all you young'uns - if you get the chance, have a look at old Alpine Rallies of the 50s, Shell did lots of coverage. The Stelvio in those days was a gravel track about one-and-a-half cars wide, and no Armco on the outside. They had to keep up an almost impossible average speed up that.

Modern rallying is just a bag of sh**.

Yes, I think 4 is the bottom part of the Stelvio, 5 looks to be in France or Italy, is it part of the Route Napoleon?

The Funchal road is straight and finishes just above the town.

I've been to 5 - think it was Sorrento.

I believe number 5 is the transfagarassan in Romania... I drove it this summer in an ambulance..great stretch of road
