In America at my dads place for the holidays and i got a $100 best buy voucher.

Went and bought a kenwood kdc-352u. The man in the shop said it would work in the uk but im not 100% sure.

Only here for 3 more days so need to know if it will work or i will return it.

FM frequency spacing will probably be off, USA car audio usually tunes to even tenths
eg 92.2/ 93.4 etc.

Whereas UK car audio tunes to odd tenths eg 96.7/ 98.9/ 106.1 etc

iirc

You may find that the FM will only work on odd digits after the decimal point, i.e., 102.3 & 102.5 so you can't get 102.4 etc.

Rest should be ok though.

Depends whether you use medium wave radio or not. The US system goes in tens as opposed to nine in the UK. Sometimes they are adjustable though.

FM should be fine.

I don't really want it for the radio but for playing my iPhone's music.

My old radio had no aux in.

Also this one has 3 rca-preout for when i fit better speakers and such.
