Contemplating a move to the US for 3 years or so and inevitably thoughts turning to cars. Stumbled on this - which looks great except would have thought $20k may be more realistic! http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledet...

But then I realised they're all massively inflated compared with here....

If they can get that much for them, you should take a bloody boat load of them over with you when you go!
However I would be amazed if that Landie or any other Landie would sell at that price.

very limited edition only 500 imported in one year. Lots suffering corrosion issues so a mint low millage one will always be worth a very good price

LHD landlines sell for serious money.

I sold my 1986 v8 110 for 4k to a chap in North Carolina. It was worth maybe 2500. He buys 60-80 landies a year in the uk and ships them over for LHD conversion.

You could make good money I reckon by buying early 1990's ex-mod left hookers and using chassis from rhd landies (as long as they're 25yo) to make US-ready vehicles.
