Joint car what car thread

Hi,

The other half and I are after a joint car in the upcoming months.

It will be her daily driver for commuting and then I will do the driving whenever we go out etc.

Other criteria is not awful on fuel. But has to be fun to drive. Budget is up to 12k but less is better.

So far I am thinking super minis

Fiat 500 Abarth Essesse or Mini Cooper S

Anything else?

Depends how you define 'awful on fuel'

I'd say anything over 30mpg average is decent on fuel.

Theres loads of choice. Why not lower your budget and get something more fun to drive but less economical?
