Five doors that look better than three
Discussion
A recent thread got me thinking about one of my old cars.
Now a general rule of thumb is that a three door variant always looks better than the five door, but it's not always the case.
Thd car in question is a Pug 309 Goodwood.
Five door..

Three door...

I suppose this applies mainly to hatchbacks but what about two door vs four door saloons?
All IMHO of course

I think I might be the only person on the planet that preferred the 309 to the 205.Now a general rule of thumb is that a three door variant always looks better than the five door, but it's not always the case.

In terms of the topic, I prefer the previous shape Focus ST in 5 door.

I'm aware of that but it's only really the front lights that are different, it was the 2 closest I could get and frankly it still gets the point across.
Sorry chap, thought that was the difference you were going for. I agree though, 5 doors look better than the three door version, also makes it far more practical! Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

- although my mum much prefers the look of her 3 door version

That's a 4 door.
