I think I should sell it, as I simply don't use it.

But then I get it out for a bit of a blast, and I don't want to sell it anymore....

What to do....??

I would only sell it if the money was required for something else. Beyond that why bother, its not depreciating.

The 100 mile commute means I don't use it for work.

I should use it more at weekends.

They came with the car, not my choice, but they do work better 'in the flesh'.

Due to fuel costs?

If it's more comfort/practicality then maybe consider an all-rounder that would combine the two. There's nothing worse than getting onto a decent road and thinking "if only I was in the other car".

you could always start a thread on pistonheads about it in the hope that it might be exactly what someone is looking for & they'll pm you an offer.

wink

in all seriousness this is what happens whenever i have garage queens, i'm left with fewer & fewer excuses to use the damned things. my old man put less than 1000 miles last year on his porsche, if he buys the indoor cover he's been on about getting for years he'll do even less, totally pointless exercise in owning the bloody thing

Half the problem is to get it out of the garage I have to shuffle the other two cars on / off the road outside, off the driveway.

And at 6.30 in the morning, in winter, its a pain in the ass to be bothered....

As we didn't actually have a summer last year, it didn't get used much then either.

Take it for a European run to the Ring or Le Mans, or even for a trip around Scotland, and bond properly with it again smile

I don't do huge mileage in mine, and no winter usage, but I try to make sure those done are "quality" miles

Yep. Plan a vacation in it.

Last summer was indeed a washout so neither of mine got much use. But they'll come out again in the spring.
I'll probably use the Porsche on an Easter tour for a week.

Right now - it's black and cold and wet and crap. As the evenings lighten up and the weather gets better you will feel differently. Especially if you have something to look forward to: like a road trip!

Go for it. Book it now.

Does it owe you anything?

If not, keep it for the odd occasion you feel like going for a blast out in it.
