Hi,

I'm after some advice for a friend who wants to do a person lease deal in the next few months.

The criteria are pretty open:-

£400 a month (roughly).

£3000 (roughly) deposit

Half decent mpg 30-50 (roughly)

3/4 year lease period.

The car itself needs to be 3 series - 5 series kind of size but has mentioned a baby 4x4 might work for them (ie. Evoke)

Any links would be great!

tell your friend to try www.contracthireandleasing.com.

it's like a search engine for lease deals.

Don't think so.

Anyone know if the lease deals will apply to the facelift E Classes? I'm guessing not..

I had a text through yesterday from XLCR Leasing for: -

C220 CDI Blue Eff SE Saloon £1559 + VAT Deposit & £259 + VAT per month for 24 months

Includes leather, Bluetooth and parking sensors.

Sounded quite good value to me?

For the estate version I have had a quote from Swift for £899 + VAT Deposit + £299 + VAT for 24 months based on 15,000 miles per year. Seriously tempted!!

Great deal on this baby at Swiftlease for £263 (inc vat) over 3 years with a £1583 deposit:

Mercedes-Benz E Class Diesel Saloon E220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY SE 4dr

Shame I'm stuck in a poverty spec Panda for another year otherwise I'd be very tempted smile

I guess it boils down to the question of 'how much would you lose on a newly purchased one over the same 2 years?'

This is true, plus you have to be careful with Mercedes going over the car with a magnifying glass at the end of the lease period and trying to rip you off with charges!
