Do PH'ers get snowed on more than average?
Discussion
I ask because it seems a day can't pass without another 'what car' thread that requires a vehicle to cope with snow.
Yes there are some parts of the UK that have some snow in the winter but hardly anyone lives there.
Is it just a desire to have the biggest and best boys' toy? If so then that's great, but why not say that? Why come up with some bull about snow?

Now if only I could find some information about them?
You may take the piss but its going to be +3 in my area tonight and I have no Winter tyres, I'm pretty worried about driving Home tonight if I'm honest. Now if only I could find some information about them?

I think a more likely reason is people used to post what 4x4 threads on the grounds they fancied a 4x4 for whatever reason. However, they then got slated for daring to make such a choice whilst not living in the Swiss Alps. Therefore now whenever someone wants to by a 4x4 they avoid this by adding a hint of extreme weather conditions where they live......
