£15k budget. Requirements are £5k barge for the commute in the week and then something nice for the weekend, £10k budget for the weekend toy.

What are your combo's?

Not quite on budget but close E39 M5 and a Z4M roadster is in my consideration....

Merc w124 and an e46 m3. Good examples of both.

use an e38 barge for the commute everyday, 5k will get you a good one with preventive servicing money left over, couldn't recommend anything better as long as you don't mind a bit extra at the pumps!

A C4 VTR Coupe with random electrical issues for the 400 mile weekly round trip to work and Evo 8 for smiles at the weekend.

Elise S1 160 and MX5 turbo for me. I'm never really sure which one is the weekend car.

If I had to stick to the rules and get a weekday barge the MX5 would go and be replaced with a R32 Skyline GTS-t.

I was actually laying in bed awake for an hour trying to work out how I could find an R32 Skyline GTS-t that hasn't been chaved - I want a standard one in gunmetal grey. Maybe an S13 Silvia Ks with the SR engine would do instead. Or a 180SX based Sileighty.
