Car of the year-how?
Discussion
What Car, car of the year, Audi A3. How?
I know its a competent car, but the new A3 looks like the old one, doesn't do anything new and is just a posh Golf.
I think this award just proves how lacking in new ideas the new car market is just now. We are just getting facelifted versions of existing cars. Where's the innovation and the next new technological advance? The new A class is a good example. The original was a fresh thinking take on packaging a supermini. The new one is just another oversized "small car" and a shrunken B Class at that.
I just dont understand how the A3 has walked off with this one, or am I missing something?
