Replacement for bumpy Audi A3 - suggestions??
Discussion
I suffer a bit from lower back pain and have a 2hr commute every day and sit all day at work. I have had my Audi A3 Sport TDI170 (56 plate) for 1 year and its definetley worse for my back than my old MK4 GTI TDI. Thinking then of replacements but there's nothing I can think of so wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
All I want is a decent looking/sporty diesel with a bit of speed but without bone jarring Audi A3 suspension. Due to very little (on street parallel) parking where I live I prefer A3/Golf size as it means there are more spaces I can squeeze into. Having said that I'm willing to consider a bigger car now as I would rather have parking problems than back problems. Budget 7K, would stretch to 8K, mileage ~60K or less
Any suggestions then on a sporty diesel with comfortable suspension? Anyone know if MK5 golf has a more comfortable springs/damplers than the Audi? Or do I have to just give in and buy a bland bouncy car?
