Hey guys, you'd of thought being mad on cars would of meant that I had sorted a fantastic wedding car for wedding day on the 9th March..... Youd be wrong

What I have learnt is that is passion for cars doesn't matter and the urge and drive not to screw up the colour palate by introducing flowers you thought were nice becomes the most important thing (well second to trying to pay for it all).

So I come here to ask, has anyone got any reccomendations for companies you've used or *cough* have an interest in (own).

Essentially I need one car to take the bride to the church and then us onto our reception in the Portsmouth area (Horndean/ Liphook for those who are local)

Anyway started the search tonight and will be my focus for tomorrow.... Well unless my boss catches me.

What I'm looking for is something classic/ quirky / smart looking. Budget for cars seems expensive to my eyes but I guess £300 mark would be where ideally I'd like to be (ha you say this about most things before giving in and paying the wedding tax)

Thanks guys

Tom

He's looking for someone with an Aventador to say "I'll drive you, internet friend."

I'm sure your googling will find these guys but a mate had a Bentley S1 from them last year and it was nicely presented and looked the part. Budget is a bit above what you've suggested but in my (current and annoying) experience that is the way with Wedding things ....

No connection at all with them other than they're virtually next door to my mother and their RR seems to fit the bill? Mercedes not so much. Also within budget I think...

I wasn't being a knob, you're reading too much into it. Loosen up a bit groomzilla.

Apologies, maybe a bit of a reaction response by me and you are right there has been occasions where people assume people will lend their P&J to a Internet friend.......

I'm just looking for a good, friendly service with a nice car without it costing the earth.

It would be nice though, if some friendly PH supercar owner (there must be one close to you) would do you a favour. smile

Not lend it to you, just do a taxi run for an hour for a hundred quid.

Well I reckon a nice drive from Edinburgh to Farnham in the back of a Bentley with a bottle of fizz or two wouldn't be a bad start to the big day nuts
