Best price for broken MX5 - Scrap / Spares or repair

My trusty Eunos has finally died, alternator belt went and took water pump out too. Over heated so head gasket may need doing awell.

Given the rather shabby state of her (purchased for a grand a couple of years back) it doesn't make sense to throw any more money away.

What's the best option for getting the most cash?

Does anyone have any advice on places which will pick up and pay me for the scrap value in Sussex area?

Would I be better of trying on e-bay?

Still got £40 of fuel in there as filled up just before it all went wrong!

Best price would be to break it as far as you can, then scrap the rest. Start with the high value item - i.e. drain the fuel

Scrap value will stay reasonably steady as you whip out things that are good to sell, as it won't affect the weight overly much until you start taking oily bits out.

Ebay spares or repairs lots of kit cars use mx5s im building one at the minute this will be perfect for them or you could strip it and sell the parts you get more than the 150 quid you get from scrapping it. If i was closer to you i would buy it.

after crashing my mx5 last summer, i have made back a fortune breaking it myself. assuming it isnt too shagged you could get your grand back over a few months. you could easily make a few hundred within a week or two removing the right parts if you wanted it fairly hassle free

Wish I had the space and time to break up and sell myself though sounds like e-bay is the best option. Will wack it on tomorrow with no reserve and see how it goes, will try to get it up on here too.
