Breakdown cover - already in Europe.

Are there any companies that will cover me for a trip starting in Europe, and ending in the UK? I only need a couple of days worth, if that makes any difference? I'm aware of ADAC, but I'm not getting anywhere with taking out a policy (needs to be by email, and takes a few days to start?).

Any help much appareciated.
