If you meant to do it, fine, if you didn't mean it...sonar

My old mk5 Fiesta Zetec S was pretty good at this. Coming off the throttle lightly on a roundabout or a corner was often just enough to gently tip up a back wheel and pull the front end through. Probably the last time Ford made a car light enough to do that in!

I say yes, unpredictable lift off oversteer spoils hooning. That was the question wasn't it?

Predictable though, adds to the hoon.

I don't think that's trolling. I agree. Apart, maybe, from your use of the word 'real'.

My car will do both 'types', and one is more fun than the other. Although one often leads to the other too.
Just the "real" was trolling. I'm happy initiating oversteer with a dirt drop, shift lock, clutch kick, scandi-flick, a well timed turn of the wheel over a crest, handbrake, power or lifting off.

However I'm very unlikely to use most of those on a hoon, because one of my favourite things about driving is not being locked up so I can keep doing it.

Extending the slide with power is the easy bit, but also the most fun bit (unless you're trying to scare passengers, in which case it's scandi-flick every time).

I'm now dreading some anti-elitist calling me a driving god.
