I'm genuinely struggling to make out if this kind of snow-driving is childish and stupid or just some fun with not much to it. What do you guys think? Next time again, or too much already?

Looked under control, perhaps a little too fast for the area and conditions but probably a damn site beter than a lot of the morons tip toeing about and still falling off the road or the invoncible owenrs of large summer tyres SUV's who think they paid enough to avoid being constrained by all that tedious physics stuff.

Looks like a residential area, so not on imo.

Depends if there's other cars/people around really. Hard to say from that angle if he can see very well around that corner at the end.

That was somewhere in mainland Europe where having fun in the snow hasn't been outlawed. Unlike the nanny state that the uk has become.

Not the point, he's right in the firing line if the driver drops it. I'd have stood on the pavement across the road which is on his left, much less chance of getting hit.

Stand on the bank at a race track wearing orange for a day, then say that again...

Oh and assuming there's no 'innocents' around go for it, as long as you'll be a man if you drop it and knock down someone's wall smile

Bit of fun, nothing wrong with that. I used to try and do that in my parents cul-de-sac in my Ford Sierra!

This place is becoming a forum full of Health and Safety bellends these days no wonder this country has gone the way it is with H&S stupidity everywhere. It's a wide open road at slow speed with noone around and well controlled whats the harm in it. Yes its a residential area but with no other cars or people in sight and such a wide road I really don't see the issue.

I was looking at pictures the other day of lots of people skating on my village lake in the 1930s, can you imagine the uproar if someone attempted that these days?

dunno what is wrong with it. I was doing exactly the same when we had the snow last year.
I had good tyres, grip could be regained very quickly if needed and was doing <15mph on empty roads with sight through the corners.

slow and gentle...no issues

i remember my dad driving a car round the village with me on a shed being towed and drifting..

i'm sure some on here would need a clip board and weak lemon drink to write fun...
