Evening all,

My insurance is due for renewal at the end of the month. I have two cars currently insured on a multi-car policy with Admiral. Their renewal quote looks good quite high to me (£849 for both).

I know that L.V. do multi-car policies but is there anyone else I should try? The on line price comparison sites don't provide quotes for multi-car policies so it looks like I'll be spending some time on the phone.

Thanks in advance.

My multicar renewal appeared today in the post.

It's up over £200 more than last year and I can insure them both with the same company online for roughly the same price I paid last year.

They offered to price match on the phone this evening but I've decided to go elsewhere.

An hour of searching has saved me a few quid so that's OK.

If the renewal quote was half decent I'd have just renewed but their greed has cost them. Oh well.

Try doing a new quote online with Admiral, they tend to take the piss with renewals in my experience.

I think Aviva do multicar policies too.

Ive been whit admiral (or subsidiaries) for the last 5 years, and every renewal is £lol.

Get a new quote for each car online, call them and they'll reduce it, then ask for a multi car discount on top.

We had 4 cars with the up until last renewal, now the other cars are with other insurers as they charge alot for my dad since somebody rolled into his parked car on private land, everything was paid for by the third party insurance company but you have to tell your insurer, and they but his premiums up a good 30% at least as a result.

Admiral renewal came through for the three cars at Christmas, wanted £1034, just got all done on separate policies for under £600! I spent ages on the phone with them trying to get a better deal, I would have been happy enough to have stayed with them if they were in the same ball-park but nowhere near so knocked them on the head.
When would companies realise that if they didn't get greedy they would get more business, oh well, all the better for me smile

Exactly the same thoughts as I had last night.
