Anyone had any issues with water ingress?

My mum's late 2010 model 107 seems to be leaking slightly. I've googled the problem and sounds like a very common issue, with many far worse stories. Unlike many, the boot feels bone dry but there is a patch of damp carpet under the floormat in the drivers footwell, it's odd though as it is more towards the gearbox side than the door. Could it be the heater leaking perhaps?

I'm suspecting it's the kind of hard to diagnose fault that will be a real ball-ache to raise with a main dealer, but it should be eligible for warranty investigation surely?

I only investigated as I noticed very heavy condensation on the inside of the screen, my mum assumed this was normal bless her!

I had this on my 07 Aygo, it came in from the drivers door.

The car went back to the dealers about 4 or 5 times, the dealer was pretty good although I did get Toyota involved. They would pick up the car from my work and leave a replacement if their attempt was going to take longer than a day. In the end they lent me a car for 2+ weeks while mine was pulled apart, dryed out and put back together with lots of smelley glue. I recall it took about a month for the gastly smell to go completely.

I think in the end I got a free big service, incl. discs and pads and a free extended warranty. I also got the clutch replaced for free, as it used to have problems getting into 1st gear sometimes so I think mine might have been a Friday afternoon car.

A fun little car though smile

That's bloody good service there Mr. Yogi, problems apart, it's how the company deal with it that make a difference.

Not knowing that anything was going to go wrong with my new Car, but having previously had a Peugeot, dealer reputation was the reason I went for the Aygo over the 107, C1 wink

It was Plantinum Toyota in Bath, they deserve a bit of recognition smile

Was there ever a successful fix for it?

Yeah, the final time when they had the car for 2 weeks and put glue everywhere sorted the leak, we kept the car for about 2 years after that.
