Can anyone help here? A friend of mine is just about to embark on producing a TV series. He is going to drive his old Holden (I think) police car across Australia, then Europe, then the U.S., all the while filming himself. He is trying to track down and film as many of the classic Tucker cars as he can along the way. He has just e-mailed me to say that for some reason he is now finding it increasingly difficult to get insurance cover to drive the car in the States. The fact that it's an old police car is not the problem.
Can anyone help?

Nah, that's not true Paddy. I took a UK bike there last year and got insurance... though it is difficult to find a company. I used a specialist bike insurer which won't be of much use.

Progressive is rumoured to cover foreign nationals but I had no joy. Just googled them and came up with this link, about cover for foreign motorhomes, but that should include cars as well...

But basically it can be done, your mate's just going to have to do some digging around.
