Apparently they have all the options.

Is it an import? I'm thinking, bulbous wing indicators and fat number plate. Steering fog lights - it'll be a miracle if they still work, but if they do, they're quite cool.
Neither are negative comments btw
Pop-ups rule.
ETA with 9" wide 16" rear rubber and a slight shock/spring upgrade (but no lowering, just refreshed it come MOT time), mine - a 1990 rev1 GT - was about as planted as its possible to get. I have never experienced more grip in any car. I was happy with the power until I had a go in a Turbo - those things are genuinely very quick.
They're sensitive to tyre choice - have a read around on the owners club websites about that.
If you're parking it outside, and it's a non-turbo with a simple slatted lid, invest a few quid in a turbo lid - they have louvres over the slats, stops the rain getting in and leaking directly on the alternator.
Don't worry if it gets dirty inside. Seats come out with 4 bolts, very easy access and not tricky at all. Best way to vacuum it

its a G-Limited which is basically "Jap import N/A" - its not a lower specced one as someone has suggested its just how they are. in fact jap import N/A's generally have a better spec than the UK model - most have climate control and leather. Think they all have retracting mirrors and steering fogs (but my MR2 knowledge is a bit faded)
it looks like a revision 1 to me, personally i'd hold out for a revision 2, same sort of spec but better brakes and lowered and revised suspension

I second this.it looks like a revision 1 to me, personally i'd hold out for a revision 2, same sort of spec but better brakes and lowered and revised suspension
G-Limited is the Japanese NA, GT-S and the GT Japanese versions were turbo charged with the GT coming with 1/2 leather/alcantara interior. 'Super Edition' means nothing to me, I suspect it may be an after market sticker set.
The UK had the normal version (130bhp?) and the GT. The GT had a bit more power (175bhp?). Power output increased with the revisions. For example the Japanese GT-S/GT power output changed with Rev 3 (?) being the most powerful at something around 245bhp, the turbo versions had the option of an LSD.
Note: This is all from memory so the figures may be a little off.

The Rev1/2 as you've posted had a little less power and a little twitchier suspension setup. Most people will recommend a Rev3+. Having said that, if it's an exceptionally well kept Rev1 for that price, I'd have it. Love mine and you will love yours too. Some inspiration.
