Always knew about the 3 series (used to have an E46 325xi when I lived in the States). Must have just missed the 1 series!

I believe the 3 only comes in 320i flavour, is it the same for the 1 series?

Ooh, so they are, must have happened in the past few days as they were only listing the petrols.

A 330d xDrive Tourer would be the perfect do-everything car for me. Slightly out of budget though punch

X Drive now available on the 3er in 320i, 320d and 330d flavour.

I suppose BMW got sick of their "OMG RWD IS TERRIBLE IN SNOW" rep.

they market the mainstream models as drivers car in the uk, 50/50 weight distribution etc

4wd is not in this scope but having 4wd is the new Burberry handbag, so they have joined the club..

BMW have been doing 4wd for many years, it's just they didn't sell them in the UK.

I thought they were not planning to bring them to the UK.

I'd be well up for the M135i.

Always amazed me that BMW didn't sell the latest generation xdrive cars in the UK. Basically gave the market to Audi.

In this weather you can imagine the BMW salesmen saying "Sorry sir, as I've told the last five people, there's no demand for four wheel drive in the UK".
