VAG 2.0 FSI - any good?

As some may have noticed from my other threads, I've been trawling the classifieds recently looking for my next car.

The VAG 2.0FSI engine is starting to get onto my radar, but what are they like?

Reliability, actual economy (depending on what it's fitted to I suppose!), timing belt and water pump intervals?

Looking at the 6 - 10 year old end of the market if that makes a difference. Any advice appreciated

personally, think it's one of the best 2L engines out there these days, had an A4Q with one, decent performance (210Bhp) and ~38Mpg overall average.

never had to put oil in it between services, no issues in 3 years.
