Await pictures, but if there is a chunk of wheel missing it sounds like you'll need a new wheel.Caulkhead said:

I for one am looking forward to seeing a £2000 wheel, damaged or not.
Stick an 'S' on the end of wheel pal 'wheels' I for one am looking forward to seeing a £2000 wheel, damaged or not.

Scrap. Bent or broken alloy wheels should NEVER be repaired. Yes, I know of posts here of those who've had it done, and companies who do it, claiming it's ok. LM25 Aluminium Alloy ISN'T amenable to being bent back from where it originally came, it’s elongation is poor, and it’s liable to micro cracking, the beginning of fatigue failure. Welded wheels have had the heat treatment in the welded zone ruined, and again, fatigue failure is likely. I believe Australia has already banned such processes.
