Hi guys

Just a quick question for the PH parents out there. Little Eltax is just moving into his first 'stage one' car seat and will be forward facing for the first time. Now, shopping around for a seat for the wife is fine, she has earmarked a nice Britain number, looks functional and does the job.

That's just it, for me it looks like it would spoil a nice interior! I'm currently looking at a new car, which will certainly have leather. It'll be either Volvo or BMW seats I think.

So, the only requirement is that it has isofix, so, are there any good looking ones out there? I seem to remember seeing a recaro bucket style baby seat years ago, but can't find it now!

This is the infant seat we have, in gray.

I'd imagine there's a toddler & upwards sized one, but I'm leaving that to you to find!

I like the look of the recaros but I don't think they do isofix? We've got a maxicosi on an isofix base, although I want something I can keep in my car rather than have to keep swapping them about; like you I fancy something that looks good!

Recaro seats aren't directly ISOFIX - you need a base adaptor thing (aren't all the seats like that hehe ?)

We bought two bases, so it's only the seat that goes between cars.

I think we need to get two seats. Our nursery doesn't have facility to store seats, but our work arrangements mean that we both might do nursery runs at the opposite ends of each day. smile

Recaro one looks lovely. Sparco one is perfect, although some research says that's a prototype that hasn't made production. frown
