Insurance problem(need uk insurance so I can import a car)

Hi guys, this is my first post so I hope it's not to cheeky to ask a question straight of the bat but I'm in a bit of a pickle.

There's a car in Sweden that I want to export to the UK but Swedish law states I need 1 months insurance from the UK where I'm having it exported too, are there any company's that do this.

I need this so the car here in Sweden can be UN-registered and temporary plates issued so it can be driven to the uk and re-registered

I have a friend in the UK who was willing to insure it on his policy and come get for me but they refused to insure it.

All seems a little confusing I don't understand why a Swedish company can't insure it for transportation.

Please any help will be greatly appreciated.
