Hi folks! Just going to look at a skoda superb ambiente 08 new model diesel 97000 miles. Is there anything in paticular l should watch out for? Thanks

Not sure about the engineering, but clocking would be my biggest concern...

Any signs of taxi use need to be treated very carefully. Taxi use could double the already-high mileage shown.

Finally, Ambiente isn't a UK trim level for the Superb. They should go S --> SE --> Elegance --> L&K.

Did they ever use the Ambiente name for the MK1 Superb? MK2 came in 2008 (I believe) so could be a MK1 the OP is looking at?

Classic, Comfort and Elegance I believe.

Good spot though - an 08 (not that they were selling many by that stage) would be a Mk1 saloon, not a Mk2 hatch.

OP says it's a new model car ... ambiente trim exists in Ireland I think

I thought they'd always offered Ambiente, but it's quite rare.
