Dual Carriageway and Bridge Wanted!
Discussion
Hi
I am looking to make a film that demonstrates a particular issue as part of my study.
Ideally, I would like to use a dual carriageway/motorway with a bridge over it as the back-drop.
I am aware of the "Road to nowhere" built near Bristol and used for many episodes of Casualty etc, but I don't think that has a bridge over it at any point?
Does anyone know if any of the industry testing grounds have a 2 or 3 lane carriageway with a bridge over them?
Somewhere I could set up a camera in the middle of the road without fear of getting run-over?!
An alternative would be to look for somewhere there is a by-pass or similar under construction, I suppose.

Obviously I tried other ways of demonstrating how to dispose of a body...
Thanks for the link, looks spot on.
Both Millbrook and MIRA have bridges over the high speed circuit. Perhaps too many lanes at Millbrook (5) and the banking isn't so typical of a normal road! MIRA is probably a bit more realistic looking though. However, it won't be cheap- they don't like cameras on site and you'd have to exclusively hire the high speed circuit.
The M45 is quiet on the other hand...
