Apparently Wheeler Dealer Mike Brewer is opening his own showroom in Sheffield next month.

So would you buy from him?

Do you think Ed is locked in the servicing garage?

Will every sale culminate in a big 'old out yer 'and showdown?

Someone go and have a nose round at least?!

I drove past it today, it's just off the A61 heading out to Gleadless/Chesterfield way.

It's showy for where it is

Is it for another TV show? I can't imagine (a) that he wants to make his brean & butter flogging motors when he has the other gigs on the go, and in addition, why would a cockney/mockney be opening up shop "up north"?

I thought it was already open, it's the old Gordon Lamb Toyota site at the end of Bramhall Lane.

Bearing in mind how much time he spends out of the country I doubt it would be his only form of income.

Don't think I'd buy from Mike. I think Quentin Wilson used to dabble in used car sales - I'd rather buy from Quents.

I'd expect there would be an arse imprint on every car he sells.

I'd get an independent mileage check done before buying anything from Quentin, or ask to see the records at Coalville Magistrates Court, or just google 'Quentin Willson clocking' wink
Quite right.......he even looks slippery, just like his reputation and yet some people view him as the knowledge behind classic cars.

Not my idea of an expert having listened to him explaining what was the detailed specifics should be under the bonnet of a S1 Etype.

I would. He's got too much to lose reputation wise if he was to start selling duffers.

Sounds bloody good. I can never understand the animosity on here for Brewer. He comes across as a top drawer bloke, who genuinely LOVES cars. And Ed is the next door neighbour I'd love to have.

Better than Top Gear.

What other "gigs" does he have on the go?

I suspect that unless you're at Top Gear level, TV presenting is probably quite well paid for the hours, but not for the year (if you see what I mean).

I looked around that garage when it was for sale, I was v surprised that someone bought it and used it as a car garage again. Its full of stock and I thought it was open, is it actually Mike Brewer?

Same opinion as me,at least he has a true love of cars which I think some presenters don't.Just using car shows as a vehicle for their TV careers.
Best of luck to him.

I agree, and he probably knows enough to avoid (most of) the lemons, too.

I'd buy a car from him, as I also agree with the above that he has to much to lose to sell dodgy motors, or not sort it out if it goes wrong.

I suspect his cars will not be the cheapest, but if they are of decent quality then fair play.
