Faulty diesel injectors and fuelling issues always seem to rear their ugly heads in the icey cold weather with my cars - predominantly I run old diesels. Almost got seriously caught out today when needing to speedily pull out of a junction in my 530d, only to find no throttle response before being catapulted into my seat on full kick down. This time 2 years ago I had to abandon a C270 Mercedes miles away from home that simply refused to start.

Any tips and experiences? It's back to petrol for me before the year's out without question.

Moms Almera diesel doesn't like starting properly in the cold, don't know why, but spraying bradex easy start into the air intake gets it starting.
