Thundersaloons

Reading the Sierra thread made me think of this crazy series.

What great cars and great name for a series. "Thundersaloons"

Don't hear it much now, which is a shame.

Thundersaloons was axed years ago due to poor numbers.

That Sierra isn't a Thundersaloon car anyway it's a Touring car.used in either ETCC or WTCC

by team Eggenberger,driven by amongst others Steve Soper,also appeared in BTCC in one

of the best races ever when beaten by Andy Rouse at Brands Hatch GP circuit.

somehwere I have a few TS pics of a MK1 escort and a Vauxhall Viva/frienza with bonkers wide wheels and arches that were TS cars with big blocks I think
