Now I know the world would be a dull place if we all liked the same things....

What's the collective opinions on this look?....having all the turbo pipes busting out of the bodywork? I've seen a few cars like this...S4's and a lot of VX turbo's for some reason.

Not a fan myself, I'd rather it was all discrete and hidden away. What do you reckon?

Makes it look daft or 'mean and purposeful'?

Sometimes there isn't an option if you want to seriously upgrade the power output.

Looks terrible in my opinion, and I'd be embarreded if that was my car.

Much rather have it hidden and discreet as possible.

Its quite clearly too big to fit behind the bumpers.

No point squashing pipes to fit behind bodywork when you cut off half the airflow making all the upgrades pointless.

Fine if it was the only way to actually fit the upgrades wanted; daft if not.

You have to have exposed pipes on both sides?!

Is it a "look"? I thought it was a consequence of cramming a big inter-cooler in.

Looks stupid. Although not quite in the same league, I can't stand it when people seem to cut the centre section out of the front bumper on old Escort RS Turbos, leaving a gaping hole and innards on display.

+1.

Admittedly some cars mimic this look and it does look untidy but on the odd occasion someone is running huge power (Iv seen an S4 like it murder an R8) it is impressive and totally forgivable. Some people also try and cover as much as possible which is fair enough I.e modify the bumper slightly, darker/colour code pipes, etc.
