Pistonheads used to be great.... The old format really worked but I guess some people don't follow the "If it ain't broke why fix it" view on life... Silly me! I should have known that the mighty Haymarket do know so much more than all of us which will explain why when searching for as Range Rover the first xx pages of searching reveals pages of Victoria Beckham's (allegedly)designed Evoque....

As there is a dedicated page for Evoques why are they being advertised under the full fat Range Rover page?


Come on Haymarket!!!! Surely, the purpose of dedicated pages is to show dedicated Marques/models??

Could it be that this idiot free environment is being run by er, idiots who (wrongly) assume that we do not know of a new model/variant??

The net result of this is that I will now be selling 3 of my cars via Autotrader where the content of pages accurately reflects their headings.... And As I am looking for a nice piece of Italian exotica to fill one of the spaces left by my garage clearance I will have a look under MG or Daf or even Yugo 'cos I'm sure there will be loads of 599 advertized there.....

To be fair, I understand what he/she is implying.

I too find it frustrating when dealers take the piss by advertising cars in the wrong section.

Wastes my time when I am trying to source a car.

This has been the case on here for a long time now.

Autotrader isn't much better. One trader regularly places multiple adverts for the same car. For example, BMW 120d 5-door £15,499 is advertised 5 times by a car supermarket. Many other examples, some much more than than 5 times.
