Take your time, don't panic, do it as you were taught, just pretend its your normal driving instructor by your side, good luck!

Use your mirrors, even when you don't have to.
Both hands on the wheel as much as possible. Look, signal, manoeuvre.

Good luck!!

Ignore the speed limit, don't indicate and act like a git. You'll pass, no problem, as that seems what most people must have done judging by driving standards these days smile

Just drive, treat it as nothing special because if you start over analysing everything you'll make mistakes. It's no different to when you're in the car with your instructor.

Take your time, sounds strange but try to enjoy it, and believe that you can do it.
Oh, and also pretend your Colin McRea (Watch the BBC doc from last night), just don't roll it!!

Concentrate on what you are doing at the time, don't worry about what the examiner may ask you to do later on. Good luck!

As said above just treat it as another drive with your regular co-driver

If you think you've made a mistake forget about it it may not be as bad as you think

The most important thing is what's happening in front of you now and immediate future

Stay relaxed but focused, follow what your instructor taught you. Always remember to MSM and just take everything one step at a time, before you know it the test will be over and you'd have passed! All the best and good luck.
The test is pretty easy anyway. tongue out

Bit late now, but I was told to exaggerate looking in the mirror. A normal look is frequently not seen by the examiner.

Other than that, obey the rules of the road even if others don't and use your common sense. Good luck.

Use the handbrake when stationary. Don't go into first gear until the car has fully stopped moving.

Avoid road rage, drifting and using the handbrake for J-turns.

How do you use the handbrake for a J-turn?

Adjust your rear view mirror and put it slightly out of alignment. This will need to you to make an exaggerated move of your neck to use it... making it more obvious how many times you are using it.
Good luck.

If you fancy getting it wrong, I presume hehe

OP, you'll be fine, and as some have said, definitely don't over-analyse things. I'm not in the habit of telling people, but I failed my first test by trying too damn hard to be in "test mode". I was on a major roundabout with traffic lights at various points around it, which I knew all about and had checked were green, but I made such an ostentatious effort to be seen checking my mirrors and lane positioning that by the time I got to them they were red and I crossed the line. I sure as hell wouldn't have done that, were I not in my test! So take it easy, and drive naturally smile chatting a little to the examiner can help you with this, especially as they'll already be impressed with you for knowing your pre-test car check questions so thoroughly!
