Ok, so I'm not the most mechanically minded individual

2 year ago I bought a S1 Lotus Elise off a "specialist", when buying I paid for an upgrade to Gaz Gold shocks (which I know wasn't the best decision anyway!)

New shocks where fitted, all was happy

2 years later I *hate* the shocks and want to change them again. I have however discovered upon closer inspection that while invoiced for the Golds, I was fitted with cheaper Gaz units, that were literally half the price.

What comeback do I have, if any, 2 years later? Feel a little stupid, but I'll get over that, but I'm pretty angry!

I would have thought that after 2 years, there's not much you can do.

Put it down to experience and move on.

Still got the invoice? Have you called the specialist and put it to him? I wouldn't go in all aggressive, more along the lines of 'there must have been a mistake at the time but...'

They might do something for you.
