Hi.

I need a bit of help if anyone knows the answer please.

A friend of mine has a 2007 207 with the EP5 engine. He's snapped the auxiliary belt. I have been trying to find out all night how the water pump is driven on these.

Any one know for sure please?

It's driven by the aux belt on a slipper arrangement.

Thanks Carl. So if the aux belt goes you loose the water pump too? This is what I have been trying to establish for the past two hours. I don't want to drive 5 miles to look. Lazy, yes I know biggrin

Yes, if you look under the drivers wheel arch and pull the plastic cover back you can see the pump.

Just to clarify the engine sir filter box sits on top of the rocker cover secured with torx screws?

Thanks for the info. He got it to his local Pug dealer okay, I gave him a lift home.

Thanks for your help.
