lots of cars in ditches this morning

saw 3 seperate car in ditch incidents within about 10 minutes this morning and another couple during the afternoon. No snow, no ice, no rain, no fog (at least none when I left at 8.30) what was going on?

Black ice pandemic. It was chaos out there. I saw two offs, one nasty. GWS unlucky drivers.

I pulled onto the lane where I live this morning and nearly went flying. Wet yesterday and seemed a mild evening but must have got cold overnight - was very icy for me this morning (South Bucks).

Saw a couple this morning too. Not good. You could see where it had gone slushy in places, so was a little slippy.

Even though its currently 9.5*c, this morning was 1*c, back end went out leaving my road turning at the bottom of the hill, black ice skate rink!
