He probably wanted to get rid of it! Sponsors' motor, so doubt he has any emotional or financial attachment to it!

All the Man U players were given a Chevvy of their choice by the sponsers. You had to be over 23 to have the Corvette. Everyone 23+ went for the Corvette, apart from Scholes, who doesn't do the whole flash footballer thing, so went with the Captiva.

His previous car was an Audi Q7, before that he had a Volvo XC90.

Don't you wish they could all be like him.

He seems like a nice bloke.

Edited to add "Provided you're not on the wrong end of one of his mistimed tackles".

Since the sponsorship deal, I haven't seen how Chevrolet have profited from the relationship.
Maybe this is the first part of a bit marketing.
Next week Giggs will crash one into Balotelli's Maserati and the Chevrolet will be unscathed.

I imagine it was Super Mario who took it. He's probably now donated it to a homeless man outside the Trafford Centre.

I do love the comments on here sometimes, But I guess we can not all be highly paid directors and such like. It may not be £100,000 but to a lot of people it's a new car and therefore quite expensive, £23,000 for a base model is hardly shed money is it.

It probably represents shed money if you earn more than that every 2 days.

It's a shame some of that massive salary couldn't have gone towards funding some more common sense.

Scholes is clearly not the sharpest to come out of the cutlery drawer, nicked car with the keys in the ignition,Scholeboy error biggrin

Guy I used to know bought one of his Mercs and promptly put L3EDS (or something v similar) number plate on. I thought it was quite funny.

Don't suppose he's too worried the insurance won't pay out either
