There is an interesting article on the BBC today..... BBC news linky

Basically it tells you how much MORE you would pay in high cost countries and how much you'd SAVE in cheaper countries.

Its quite fun playing with it.

My results are:

UK
Unleaded petrol
Avg. £130 p/ litre
Small car
£52.00 for a full tank

Comes in at £0.89 less than the countries average smile

Whereas in the Netherlands I'd pay £6.50 more and in Venezuela I'd be over paying by a whopping £51.33!!!

anyway, I thought I would share smile

It's the "Without tax, you would only pay" that makes me frown

I have a feeling that the Venezuela figure might be incorrect. £0.02 per litre...that's insanely cheap.

Just done a bit of Googling, seems that figure is correct, well either $0.02 per litre or £0.08 depending on what you read. It seems to be heavily subsidised.

Perhaps it's time to hire a massive fuel tanker, fill it up and sail home to sell for a tidy profit?

I just looked at that with my car. For my S8 I am paying £1.52 more than average in the UK, but if I was in Holland I would have to pay more than £10 more! Must remember never to fill up there.

Have heard rumours that Lux is the cheapest.
