Good evening chaps.

I'm looking at storage options for my car, we are in the process of moving and also have a 3 week holiday planned abroad, sadly I have no drive way but do have an allocated parking space which would be great of my neighbour didn't park like an absolute chimp.

I don't have a car of high value as such but for the sake of having to check it for dings each time I drive it I'd rather just have it locked away.

I happened upon this setup which is fairly close by and wondered if it had been used by anyone one here.

http://www.autolocker.co.uk/

What concerns is that it is not manned so to speak and I'm sure the local toe-rags are more than aware of what the place is used for, making it a target (or have I been watching too much 'gone in 60 seconds)

Or

Anyone know of a garage I can rent in old Basing/Bramley /Chineham area.

Thanks.

Airport parking would probably work quite nicely.

True. However I'm thinking of more a local solution, the move could take 4-6 months so I'd rather just have the car locked away somewhere close but with access to it when needed.

Depending when you need it, I could store for less £ a few more miles away, dry barn storage, I store my play cars & stuff & pals cars also, bit stuffed at the mo but in couple of wks should be a space or two free.

I've been using www.storacar.com/ for two of my cars for over a year now. Fantastic service, secure storage, couldn't be more helpful.

Just stumbled across this thread. rather surprised with dotty's comments. Have you been to meet the guys at Autolocker? I live in Bramley and have had several cars in with them for a while now (no multi-mlillion ££ cars either), and had no trouble with them or their facility at all.

The facility is secure, they follow all the usual security protocols expected with car storage (I work in the classic car business so familiar with these companies), the building has someone on site throughout the week - although not an Autolocker employee - and is a non-descript farm building (like many other facilities). When I first met the guys at Autolocker for a 'tour', I realised I had passed it regularly for over a year with no clue as to what was inside.

Perfectly happy with their service and security for my pride and joys. All are checked in and out, cleaned, covered and kept in fine fettle under their watch. Not bad packages for storage too...

Just stumbled across an almost year old thread?

Not been asked to Google the name of the company you work for and find anything negative about them? wink
