I work in car parking in a round about way and you wouldn't believe the number of people that go to some effort to enter areas that are clearly barriered off.

Not just car parking. My old man has a business of stripping, resealing and polishing all types of hard flooring as required.Occasionally I have helped out on a job that needs doing overnight such as a hospital.
The thing is this stuff that goes down on the floor is slippy as hell whilst it is drying off (once dry it's fine)No matter how much you cordon and have diversions arranged with staff and put signs up people still want to walk on it,even telling them if they do step on it will end up with them flat on their back doesn't deter some.
Many have tried, many have ended up on their arse within a couple of steps,it's like slick tyres on ice.

I hope that doesn't extend to well travelled Aberdonians who happen to live in Edinburgh just now...

Had similar on a regular basis when doing the Stansted short stay car park refurbishment.

The best was when Natasha Kaplinsky ignored the cordon of the guys doing the white lining works, and she walked through a load of wet paint, and then tried to claim a new suitcase, trousers and shoes.

I believe she was told to fk off.
