Any suggestions for a estate or MPV, preferabbly not older than year 2000, with a budget of around £1000?

Thanks in advance.

Don't need any links to individual cars, i mean just in general what cars go for that sort of money?

Petrol mondeo, should be able to get a nice 2.0 petrol or a slightly ropey diesel within budget

Saab 9-5's are good value and a large estate.
A friend had a 7 seater Mercedes E-class, it had NO rust or issues.

You'll get a late shape Volvo V70 which has been to Mars and back.
I'd go for a V70 with decent history and condition. Petrol. Incredibly comfortable with masses of space and looks nice.

just look at that other thread where people have been posting cars up to a grand in value - dozens of pages long by now.

If that does give you any inspiration nothing will !!

If you want to move three young kids around, a Picasso 2.0HDi. Two or less you don't need an MPV, so I'd go Alfa 156 SW....petrol or diesel. Or an MG ZT-T, but the V6 is costly to run.

Saab 9-5 forgot about those. You'll struggle to get anything other than a 6-pot petrol E39 for a grand or under, but if you can live with the economy I'd consider those too.

Thanks for replies. I have been looking at the mondeo estates and v70's yeah, these are my first two options. Also i said MPV as we just want a bigger car, doesn't have to be a 7 seater, but atleast an estate. Don't have a big family, just want a bigger car.
