When a fellow PH'er acts like a tool!
Discussion
Was traveling from Edinburgh city center to Glasgow this morning. Was on the Lanark road about 10:40am, when this Corsa was hanging of my boot lid. I was doing 40mph in a 40mph zone. When the road opened to 2 lanes this t
t in his 1.2 "twinport" corsa complete with blacked out windows and Peco type exhaust, lowered suspension flew by me and went flat out into the distance. The limit was still 40mph at this point. The sad thing was a big PistonHead sticker on the back bumper! It was a sad sight to behold. Not sure if im allowed to post the number plate on here or if that is against forum rules. I can only imagine how this tool drives every day with our forums motif adorning the back of his car. If the tool who it was is on here? I was in the A8 the front of your car was trying combine with.

It opens the flood gates for everyone who disagrees with something to tell tales and they will only present one side of it.
But then PH choose to let anyone with web access and 3 quid, represent their brand, so they probably have only themselves to blame.
A cleverer solution might be to make PH smileys impossible to get with out joining a club (paying to Haymarket), completing a minimum number of events and doing a PH sanctioned advanced driving course.
But improving the public perception of motoring as a whole is unlikely to feature in the Haymarket business model. It could do though, if they gave it some thought.

I'm about to display a GRRC sticker on my car and that cost me £300.

There has been a few rant threads in the past with number plates in the title and it hasn't set any precedent as far as I know. But then PH choose to let anyone with web access and 3 quid, represent their brand, so they probably have only themselves to blame.

OP, it's typical behaviour, Isn't it? He's in a Corsa - a kid's toy, you're in a nice big A8. Without knowing it you've made him feel very insecure, and now he's got something to prove. It's simply the four-wheeled equivalent of small man syndrome. That overtake will have made him feel so much better, he will feel like he's belittled you. Think of it as you doing a good turn - you will have made his day.
